Your next move should depend on what they do, not on the combo you meant to press.

That last column matters after the opening exchange, too. Someone else may be close enough to join in. Don't spend your last dodge just to land one more hit.
Adjust After a Few Runs
1. If targets survive your opener, test more damage or penetration.
2. If counters drop you, try health, defense, or better movement.
Know When the Kit Has Done Enough
Change one part at a time, then give it a few runs. Otherwise, it's hard to tell whether the gear helped or you simply found easier fights. Keep a cheaper setup for practice and a stronger one for raids where you're ready to take PvP seriously. Both should follow the same basic plan, so the practice still teaches you something useful. Pay attention to what happens after a win, not only during the fight. Did you use every heal? Are you stuck far from an exit with little stamina? Can you hear another player nearby? Valuable loot changes the decision. You don't owe anyone another duel when you're carrying rewards worth keeping. Extract, sort your gear, and work out what actually held you back.
