Cops: WW I-era machine gun stolen from Bay Shore vets group - Newsday
The machine gun, which is inoperable, was stolen sometime earlier this month, according to police. It had been a fixture on the roof of the Marine Corps Suffolk County Detachment, located on the Sunrise Highway service road in Bay Shore.
